Low-Pass Crossover - A filter, found in a powered subwoofer, that accepts a full range audio signal heading for the subwoofer and passes only those frequencies falling below a predetermined frequency, attenuating those above. The goals are to "feed" the subwoofer only those frequencies that it can comfortably reproduce.

Airbrushing - A software tool found in many image editing programs that simulates the effect of a mechanical airbrush.
VGA - This acronym is short for the "Video Graphics Array" display mode. VGA resolution is 640 x 480 pixels.
Exposure - The result of allowing light to act on photosensitive material. The amount of exposure depends on both the intensity of the light and the amount of time the light is allowed to fall on the sensitive material. The exposure is dependant on the aperture size, shutter speed and the sensitivity if the light gathering material.
CD-RW - Rewritable Compact Disc used as a digital audio recording media. Can be erased and re-recorded hundreds of times with no loss in quality. Playback of CD-RW discs requires players with CD-RW compatibility.
Redeye - Redeye is the term used to describe the red color often visible people's eyes when a picture is taken with a flash. Redeye is caused by the reflection of the flash off the subjects' eyes -- a problem that is compounded when the flash is positioned close to the lens, as it is on many small cameras.
