Contrast - The measure of difference between the lightest and darkest values appearing in an image. High-contrast images contain mainly dark values and white values with few steps or tones available in the image.
Focal length - The distance, usually measured in millimeters, between the lens and the focal plane in a camera. As the focal length increases, the field of view decreases.
Chroma - The hue or color information associated with an image.
S-Video Connection - A method to interconnect video devices (such as a DVD player and the analog television) by sending the two signals luminance (Y) and an encoded color difference signal (C).
