Datacasting - Also known as "enhanced TV." Datacasting is the act of providing enhanced options offered with some digital programming to provide additional program material or non-program related resources. This allows viewers the ability to download data (video, audio, text, graphics, maps, services, etc.) to specially equipped computers, cache boxes, set-top boxes, or DTV receivers.
Composite video. This 1-wire standard contains all video information: intensity, color, and sync. The encoding is the same as NTSC, and thus has the "overlapping sideband" problem which sometimes causes wrong colors to appear.
Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) - Digitally compensates for unwanted hand movement to make the camcorder picture more stable.

Capture - Acquiring information, such as an image, with a scanner or digital camera device.
Crossover Network (speakers) - Consists of a "switching box" in a loudspeaker that splits the audio signal for each driver (speaker).
Surround Sound (home theatre) - Surround sound is the basis of a home theatre. It is created by a surround sound processor, multi-channel amplification and five or six speakers. Surround sound envelopes the viewer/listener with sound, includes special effects and simulates the ambience of the environments shown on the TV.
