Macro - A term used to identify a photograph which is taken at a very close distance to the subject. Normally so close the image size on the negative is 1-to-1 or larger.
CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) - A computer chip covered with thousands or millions of light-measuring cells that convert light into electrical signals and allow you to capture an image.
Optical Zoom - Relates to Hitachi DVD Camcorders.
Raster - A group of closely-spaced lines whose brightness changes so as to appear to be an image.
Acoustic Suspension - A speaker system mounted in a sealed enclosure. The internal air loading adds damping and acoustical stiffness at low frequencies where the wavelength is larger than the enclosure.
Hotsync - The process and software by which handheld computers synchronize/share information with a desktop computer
