Crossover Frequency - The frequency at which the crossover network routes the audio signal to the correct driver (speaker).
PCM - (Pulse Code Modulation) - This 2-channel digital audio standard is simpler than Dolby Digital.
Pixel - The smallest unit of color on a computer screen. High resolution devices have more pixels per square inch.
Titler - Allows you to add titles to your videos. Camcorders or VCRs can have either preprogrammed titles to choose from or an alphanumeric keypad (character generator) that allows you to create your own titles.
Progressive scan - This is the opposite of interlaced scan.
Pan-and-scan - A method of broadcasting a wide screen film on a 4:3 channel. Most of the time just the center of the image is shown. (The right and left edges are clipped off.)
