HD-Ready TV - An HDTV monitor or TV that lacks a digital tuner.
Series 40 - Mobile phones created by Nokia that support J2ME applications. Examples include the Nokia 7210, 5100, 6100, 6200 and 6800. Series 40 phones receive applications via OTA.
Stadium Surround Mode - One of several different modes in audio receivers and systems to shape sound to more closely resemble a live performance. Stadium Mode recreates the reverberation and open air atmosphere of a rock concert or sporting event when playing stereo (but not mono) source material.
Set-top box (STB) - A box, similar to the familiar cable box, that is capable of receiving, decoding and sending to the associated television the picture and sound of the selected DTV broadcast.
